Kenneth Gray, Plant Manager for L.Gray Barrel and Drum Company

Kenneth Gray

Kenneth Gray is plant manager for L. Gray Barel and Drum company. The company is a family owned business started by his dad--Lomak Gray, Sr.  Kenneth donated all the barrels needed to ship parcels to Ghana. Kenneth was inspired to do something to help others while driving to work one morning listening to the Tom Joyner Morning Show. He heard author and lecturer, Tavis Smiley, talk about '101 things people could do for others to give back to their communities'.
Kenneth did not know what he was going to do, but he was inspired to do something! According to Kenneth, less than 45 minutes later Osah and Norma walked through the door needing a donation for the 'Eyeglass to Africa Project'. He said he felt the spirit move within him to help out and so he did. Kenneth zealously also took an eyeglass collection box back to his church!
