We affectionately term Rev. Dr. McMikel, the "giant preacher", not because of his height, certainly there are men taller. We call him that because of
His heart! Rev. McMikel is a dynamic leader, lecturer and preacher of the
word! He is also an author who has written several Christian based books.
Dr. McMikel
has an impressive community service history including being a candidate
for the United States Senate.
Within a four week time period at the startup of the second eyeglass project
his
Congregation donated three trash bags full of used prescription eyeglasses
totaling
slightly over 1000 pairs !
