Jackets for Juniors began in 2003. One of its’ very first supporters
was Burlington Coat Factory and several area schools. The projects mission is to collect new and gently worn jackets, coats, gloves, scarves and other warm winter wear to assist those in need particularly in Northern Summit and Cuyahoga Counties, during the winter seasons. Summit County Dept of Children and Family Services, The Western Reserve Outreach Center, The senior citizen complex in Oakwood along with area residents benefited from the campaign.
