"Lending a Hand Up...Not a Hand Out" |
|
Jackets for Juniors began in 2003. One of its’ very first supporters was Burlington Coat Factory and several area schools. The projects mission is to collect new and gently worn jackets, coats, gloves, scarves and other warm winter wear to assist those in need particularly in Northern Summit and Cuyahoga Counties, during the winter seasons. Summit County Dept of Children and Family Services, The Western Reserve Outreach Center, The senior citizen complex in Oakwood along with area residents benefited from the campaign. |

In 2006 Jackets for Juniors will expand to the Greater
Cleveland Area. The Cleveland Cavaliers Black Heritage Celebration and the Greater Cleveland Faith Community come together for Praisefest nights at the Q Arena. The event is Chaired by Rev. Dr. Larry L. Macon. The committee selected Angelhands-Neo participation to organize outreach projects. Projects done with faith based organizations will become known as Project Angelhands. Please partner with us, as we attempt to make a difference in the lives of others, your participation is needed.
